Journal of Natural Environmental Hazards (JNEH) is an open-access, peer-reviewed quarterly journal in Persian (with English abstracts and bibliographies), disseminates significant research in the natural hazards and environmental sciences, including research that integrates environmental processes and human activities, published by the University of Sistan and Baluchestan and scientifically sponsored by the Iranian Association of Geomorphology. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to publishing original articles, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.
Aim: The Journal of Natural Environmental Hazards seeks to advance the scientific understanding and promote interdisciplinary research in the domains of environmental hazards, climate change, and resilience. Through the publication of high-quality peer-reviewed research articles, review papers, and technical notes, the journal aims to expand the frontiers of knowledge concerning natural hazards and their management, with a particular focus on the geographical contexts of Iran and other regions. It is dedicated to fostering innovative solutions for the monitoring, prediction, and mitigation of environmental risks by utilising state-of-the-art technologies, such as artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and geographic information systems. The journal is committed to supporting sustainable development by providing a platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange evidence-based strategies that enhance societal resilience to all natural environmental hazards, encompassing climatic, geomorphological, and ecological threats.
